Getting There

Pekoe is now large to the point that she is uncomfortable.  She's preferring the cool tile to any of the dog beds and has to go outside to relieve herself frequently (like a puppy).  Hard to believe it's only a week now!  We have an X Ray scheduled for Friday to get a "head count."  Last time she didn't wait for the X Ray but had the pups the night before it was scheduled!

We ARE Pregnant!

We just returned from Dr. Brimacomb's office where an ultrasound confirmed what I was pretty sure of - BABIES ON THE WAY! At one point, we were able to see four pups in the same viewing window. This does not mean that there are only four pups... it means that there are at least four clustered close together, which lead me to expect a litter of at least 6-8. We're looking at an expected delivery date of July 5, but you never know.... it could be a Yankee Doodle Dandy litter!
