The stacking process
It's sure not pretty with a 3.5 month old pup with SHARP teeth. There are some moments of brilliance. Once he gets this stacking thing down.... WATCH OUT!
Growing up!
I'm very lucky and get to see three of "the kids" at class each week - Grape/Dixie, Berry/Zoe and Kiwi/Zen. Took this video of Zen at conformation class this week. Zoe will be going to the AKC shows to watch big brother, Tonka show and so I'll try to get some of her this weekend.
PS - not sure *WHAT* I was doing with the "chicken wing" arm! LOL!

Another Sunday Funday
Another weekend chock FULL of visitors. Working to get the weekly shots edited right now, but here's something to tide you over. I hope to be able to tell everyone which pup they'll be getting by no later than tomorrow. I promise I'm trying!

Bartender.... Set em up!
Here they are in all their week six glory. A HUGE THANK YOU to Stephanie Schisler for her help with the photos today. It was very interesting to be on this side of the camera this week. Getting good puppy shots is HARD!
They continue to be the happiest, easiest pups I've ever had. This weekend, in addition to lots of company, they got a cardboard box (quickly destroyed) and a small puppy sized teeter-totter added to their arsenal of toys.

MugShots - Week Six
The kids had a very busy weekend filled with LOTS of guests. Thanks to Stephanie Schisler for the help with this week's MugShots. I'll have the stacked shots up tomorrow. They're about 80% edited right now, but it's nearly midnight and my bed is calling. But for now... enjoy this one set.

Dining Al Fresco
The pups sure have enjoyed their time out on the back porch this weekend. Meals were even served here! They've gotten so much bigger that they barely all fit around the "flying saucer" any more. May have to start feeding them in two lots!
Singing in the Rain
Carrot seems to have had the best time on this rainy day. He badly wants to go out into the pen to potty and makes several attempts before giving up.
But he doesn't let the rainy day ruin his fun. The new leopard ball doesn't stand a chance against Carrot!
Working on this week's MugShots. Probably tomorrow.

It's Raining, It's Pouring, The pups are now snoring.....
Pups were out on the porch with me today when a summer thunderstorm rolled in. Since half of their outside pen is well up under the cover of the roof, we decided to stay outside and enjoy the cooler temperatures. Several pups, led by Peanut and Carrot decided to brave the rain and see what the noise was all about. Shortly after, all but Carrot retired to the outdoor crate to (in Florida weather terms) "hunker down" to weather the storm. So instead of sleeping all spread throughout the pen, ten of them are piled into the crate.

Just Dragon Along
One of the puppy gifts from "Aunt" Melissa was a really cute little dragon toy with crinkly sounding feet and wings. Here's a short video of Pumpkin slaying the dragon.
Out STANDING!
Yesterday was also the first time we "stacked" the pups. This allows me to begin evaluating them. Considering that they'd never done this before, they did an outSTANDING job! This week doesn't do much other than show their spotting patterns, but I wanted to share them, so without further ado.

Late Again!
Here's the anxiously awaited and long over due weekly MugShots. Delayed because two of the pups did not photo well and it took a while to getting around to redoing them. My apologies. ( no Carrot does NOT look as much like an alien as he does in his photos!)
They're doing GREAT in the big pen. Pekoe is back to sleeping in OUR room and even letting the other dogs look into the box to see the pups.
Tonight they had a HUGE meal for dinner. I'd fed them their regular dinner but they were still fussy and so I offered a second full dinner and they ate 98% of it! Guess I'd better up their meal size!
